Ash Shore R1/T2/S2: Enzo & Tobias’s Wedding

Rhythm 1/Turning 2/Season 2

The Saga of Enzo and Tobias…

I’ve already told their story many times.  How I discovered their extremely high chemistry based on my personality profiles.  They were 15 and 15 1/2 at the time I believe.  And I have many pics of them together at school and parties while they were still teens.

They were almost always standing or sitting together.  It was like they gravitated to each other.  And yet, they barely spoke.

Of course, when they did you know I had to get a pic.  Although, I think I got a pic of every time they were near each other.

And then finally, right before Enzo aged up, it looked like maybe something more might happen…

But, Enzo’s uncle left him and his sister Sierra alone and he became preoccupied with building a life with her, alone.

Enzo aged up and spent all of his time with Sierra.

And Tobias followed soon after.  Sierra knew it was only a matter of time.

Somehow, despite the fact that I rarely saw them talking, they had a high enough relationship when I started playing Enzo to become best friends.  The look on Erick’s face!

But, for the most part, they continued their usual stand near each other and talk to other people thing.

Finally, things started to settle with Enzo and Sierra.

But, nothing really changed between them.

Until one day at a group meeting.  They must have hugged at least 10 times!  And they actually talked!  I was ecstatic!

But, just because Enzo’s life was settled doesn’t mean that Tobias’s was too.  His father married and moved in with his new wife’s family.  Tobias was left alone at the camp and when offered supplies to build a house he refused.  Feeling lonely, he adopted a dog he named Puddin’.

Finally, Enzo flirted with him and he seemed into it…

But then, he immediately left!

After all of this time and trying to decide how to go about trying to get them together.  I realized it might never happen.

As a distraction, Enzo and Sierra adopted a cat they named Chatterbox.

I’d added Tobias to my rotation and while playing him Enzo was at the park and flirted with him… a lot.

But, it was totally one-sided.  I don’t control my sims for romantic interactions anymore beyond the first few flirts until after they’re married and I sometimes follow whims.  So this was extremely frustrating and Enzo seemed just as frustrated as me.

The problem was, Tobias still wanted to find his place in the community.  Learning that Naomi wasn’t able to keep up with the demand, he decided to try out canning.

And his first attempts with apple jam came out quite well and, impressed, Mack gave him his own shelf at the supply depot.

Despite his traits and personality profile, Tobias has always been what I’d call a moody sim.  But, he suddenly did a total 180!  While playing Enzo, he decided to flirt!  I was psyched.  It was the first time ever!

But then, he left.

And came back a few hours later.

And it finally occurred to me that maybe they just aren’t into public displays of affection?  I mean, up to recently, they barely interacted beyond a hug, maybe some jokes, and standing near each other.  So I had Enzo bring them down to this little fishing area here and after chatting for a bit Enzo asked him to be his boyfriend…

And to my utter shock, Tobias immediately proposed!

Then, newly engaged, they finally had their first kiss!

It was one of the happiest days I’ve had since I started simming.  I cried and cried some more.

But, soon dawn began to break and Enzo was exhausted and they had to say goodbye.  But not for long.

The wedding…

I really struggled to decide where to have their wedding.  In the end, I chose where they finally got together.

Just family for them.  I thought that it was best.  I had to use a beach a little further down from where they got engaged because the camera wasn’t able to zoom in there.

Alright, I’ll be quiet now.  Enjoy the wedding…

And, yet again, I cried!  It took a long time to take those pics since I was so emotional.

And the family all got up to congratulate them… but they didn’t notice.

It’s kinda like the family wanted to watch but wanted to give them privacy… so funny!

Finally, they seemed to get tired of waiting and started making their way over.

Sierra was so excited and gave them hugs first.

And many hugs followed with congratulations.

But despite that, their attention was still focused on each other.

It was Tobias’s newly adopted sister Alayna who broke the spell.  And everyone made their way to the park area where their friends would be soon arriving.

They spent a few more minutes alone on the beach before making their way up to the park as well.

Tobias looks like he’s thinking why is he running?

Time to greet the masses.

And with that look, I realized they really don’t want to be here.

They went home and Sierra spent the night at Tobias’s dad’s house.

Other pics…

This was the morning of the wedding before I moved them in with Enzo and Sierra.  I needed to grab the canner and make sure there wasn’t anything else at his camp he needed to bring.  He did this as soon as I unpaused.  Looks like I wasn’t the only one excited!

I was wondering why Alvin was sitting there instead of with them…

And realized the plates of food were blocking sitting at the second table!

Sierra and Alayna sat over here being all adorable.

Our other newlyweds.

I’m just so happy!  There are no words.

    1. I’m finally catching on I think. It really is hard to break old habits! I’d originally thought I’d have a big wedding for these two but realized that wouldn’t be what they’d want at all.

    1. Because it was them right? It was so surreal. Especially that once their vows were done they just wouldn’t stop!

      1. Yes – because it was them and because I loved the setting. Beach wedding with bare feet and just the ones you love 🙂

        1. It was really perfect. I did some testing and set up with the poses and it took a long time in CAS to make the two different outfits one with the rolled pants and no shoes and another with similar non-rolled pants!

  3. Oh my gosh, these two. I’m a little teary eyed, got to admit. I think I’ve been nearly as invested in them as you. 😂

    1. Awe really? That’s awesome! I’m so happy to hear that. I’ve kinda felt like I’m a bit weird how I’ve mooned over them this whole time!

  4. That was an AMAZING WEDDING! I ADORE how you dressed them – no shoes to feel the sea breeze and sand under their feet, lighter more casual formal clothes, pretty dress and flowers for Sierra, and how it was just so…perfect! They are so happy together and gah I’m getting emotional now dang it! Sierra looks very content holding that cat and very secretly pleased with herself! I am so so so happy for ya!
