Ash Shore R1/T2/S2: Welcome Dante?

Rhythm 1/Turning 2/Season 2

My usual hmm… who should I play next… was interrupted by this pop-up!  I guess I know already!

When I got there Zion was totally freaking out.  He was the only one.

No cute pre-baby pics this time.  She immediately went to deliver.

Zion was tense which made him look furious instead so I got no pics of him watching.  Regardless, I got my sparkles pic!  Introducing Dante Sands.  I figured it’s been long enough since last time I used Dante.  It’s one of my favorite names!

Daddy came over to coo at Dante and I wondered where the heck that pale skin was supposed to have come from.  The Sims 4 babies look like plastic dolls.  Axel wandered over to have a look at what Daddy was doing…

Uh oh.

Momentarily distracted by Ragtime sleeping by a burger.

The calm down interaction with toddlers is a hug.  I expected her to talk to him.

Calming hugs were not going to do the job.  He yelled and hit her.

And was scolded by daddy.

I kinda felt bad for him.  Out of nowhere, there was this other little person.

Zion tried to distract him.

And got yelled at and hit!

And scolded by mommy.

It was still late.  Best to just put him to bed.

Oh calm down Ragtime and go sleep too!  It was actually kinda weird seeing him in his original hoodie.

The crying baby waking him up is not going to endear him to Axel more.

At least they got some sleep.

Maybe he’s warming up to the idea?

He doesn’t seem to know either.

Distracted by daddy.

Everyone’s got so much laundry!

Ragtime was just sitting there.

I saw Drew and Everett over here.  I think Everett was fishing and Drew was jogging but the pull of his husband so close was too strong!

We’ll just pretend that they made those burgers when I wasn’t playing them.  I’d thrown away the others but he had this in his inventory!  I don’t know how the food freshness timer just cancels out like that?

Elsa stopped by to see Dante.

Axel seemed interested in what she had to say.

Umm… guest?

Judy arrived next to see the newest Sands family member.

Someone snuck off to play in the water.

Maxwell arrived next.  They were getting hungry so it was canned food to tide them over.  The way he looks at her!

Not much Ragtime cuteness in this chapter, unfortunately.

Axel really didn’t get much sleep before Dante woke them all up.

And then Enzo showed up!

Maxwell was excited to say hi to Ragtime.  Sorry, Maxwell, this kitty is nothing like your Rainbow!

I really do love how they all show up like this.

Dante started crying and everyone crowded around to see what was wrong.  Maxwell was the fastest.

He changed his diaper before feeding him and yet as soon as he started feeding him his diaper needed to be changed again.  He’s going to be such a good daddy!

Zion made a quick trip to the park to make them some dinner.  Ragtime was very protective of the food.  No food for you Butter!

When he got back Maxwell was still there.

Zion was super tired so Maxwell left.

Then the little bug was tucked into bed as well.

Aimee wasn’t very tired.  Ragtime got some attention.

And she finished off the sculpture she’d been making before which, sadly, was identical to one she’s already made, before calling it an early night as well.
