Ash Shore R1/T2/S2: Half-Days

Rhythm 1/Turning 2/Season 2

I still had almost half a day left after waiting for Grim to reap all of those sims from the new not-so-random households.  I didn’t really want to spend only half a day with anyone at the time so I decided to play Vicente and his family.  I felt a bit guilty that I was playing the others and not him.

I’d told Vicente to do something with Smeagie and he just stood there staring at him.  Eventually, I just reset him.

Smeagie is cute yet terrifying.  He looks like he’s either smiling or ready to tear Vicente’s face apart!

Alayna tried to play with Snoozer but he was like what?  He does this with Michelle and Christian too which is weird seeing as how he’s a playful pup.

Keane and Fish communing.  Look into my eyes!

Boogie down with dad.  Drew had some smooth moves.

She had one of those “someone used bad words” thought bubbles but she was the only one to react.  The way everyone looked at her, including Fish, cracked me up!

Here’s one of the new matches.  I had a brief thought of having a “oops” teen pregnancy for them for an adoption.  Would that be weird?  He lives alone with his two younger sisters and she lives with her mom and dad but she and dad aren’t very nice so… maybe?

We got one step closer to teaching Smeagie not to eat people food.  And look!  Lucca showed up.  According to CathyTea, the sims that have high relationships with the current household do have a higher likelihood of showing up!  I’d thought this would be too complicated but maybe not?  Either way… yay!

And then, suddenly, the entire family swarmed over there to eat.

Smeagie is trying to will Kierstin to give him that burger.

I had to have someone get some fruit to grill since he was hungry.  Playing families that I normally don’t that have no supplies is weird.  Grandma Meredith staring should have made him uncomfortable.

Finally, the family started to dissipate.  This is why I didn’t want to play Casen with his whole family.

They’re both sooo good looking.  I never really noticed it with Lucca until he aged up.

And… back with mom.

A brief pic of the two teen “lovebirds” well, they can’t all be cute together eh?

I finally sent the rest of the family home.

What?  How are they kissing?  It always looks a bit odd when the shorter sim kisses the taller one but hey, I’m not going to let that stop me from taking a sweet screenshot!

Haha Smeagie!

The other didn’t count… apparently.

All good things come to an end.  At least we got to have a bit of fun with Vicente.

I know I’ve stopped merging two households into one chapter but I also only played Christian and Michelle for half a day before the club meetings and each alone would have been super short.  Even together it’s short.  I’d planned to play them a full day but just wasn’t feeling it.

Four and Five.  I’m still lukewarm about them and kids.  No idea why.

They had like no romantic whims and barely did anything interesting autonomously.  I know, I feel bad, but, I was kinda in a bad mood at the time anyway so that didn’t help.  I should have just played another household but I wanted a full day with the rest.

Then, in the middle of a conversation, Christian walked out to greet and shake Vicente’s hand.  Michelle followed him out like what the heck which is what I was also thinking and then they took turns talking and playing with Snoozer.  It was the best part of the day.

Sheesh Aubree, lighten up.  I decided to just leave them here and do the club things.  Thrilling, I know.

  1. I think the couch potato trait sometimes overwrites the playful trait with the dogs – most of my Sim dogs have the CP trait (because they are almost all greyhounds) and none of them wants to play ever.

      1. It’s like my dogs are IRL – they don’t really want to play with us humans – and playing together is 1 min of sprinting around in the garden – once or twice a day. They are masters of energy conservation! xD

        1. My dog plays for like 5 minutes. And that’s mostly running back and forth like a maniac. Then, he sleeps. Lazy dogs are better I think.

  2. Grandma is staring because she is trying to figure out what is taking him so long to make a move on Lucca! Something we ALL are wondering darn it! I think they will be fantastic parents! I do love these two, one of my favorites! (Christian and Michelle!) I like that you played Vicente! I miss his spiky hair.
