Rhythm 1/Turning 1/Season 3
When the reception first began, Enzo tried not to show his distress.
But the fact that he was distracted was apparent nonetheless.
Overhearing Layla bragging that it’s great to be raised by a brother, Enzo realized his sister had let the cat out of the bag.
He finally broke down and told Isaac his uncle Freddie had left that morning leaving him and Sierra alone. He’d said that since Enzo would soon be 18 there was no reason for him to stay. He’d done his job caring for them but after all, they were his sister’s kids. It was time for him to seek his own life away from Ash Shore and the memories it held.
Seeing his son was in poor spirits Alvin tried to distract Tobias.
And Isaac tried to cheer Enzo up by telling stories of his brother raising them.
Should he leave or should he stay? He started leaving and took a look around. There he is. He’d always been right there next to him, they hadn’t talked very often, but he thought that they were friends. There was a distance growing between them and with his life in turmoil, there just wasn’t time to figure it out. If Tobias had his way he’d have a new family soon and now Enzo had to worry about his own.
Tobias hadn’t heard what was happening with Enzo and seemed sullen. He took it out on Isaac which was so out of character for him they didn’t know how to react.
Seeing his son storm off, Alvin decided it was time to go. He didn’t know what’d gotten into him lately. He ran hot and cold. One minute doing his silly match-making with his new friend Vicente and the next being irritable and snapping at everyone.
Isaac insisted they talk to Dean. But Enzo barely said a word before he told his sister it’s time to go.
Sierra said her goodbyes and Isaac hugged his brother thanking him for all he’d done for them.
A few minutes later, Sierra left as well. It was nice having a distraction but now her worry returned.
Back at the campsite little Sierra cried. What will happen to us? And Enzo broke inside.
He cheered his little sister. Saying everything would be all right. They’d always be together and little Sierra sighed. She was a little worried that Enzo would be leaving too. She’d lost her Mom and Papa and now her uncle Freddie.
Enzo put on a brave face and hugged his sister tight. They’d get through this together. Everything would be alright.
They are no longer boys. They’ve grown into men. And what started as notes on paper and silly fangirling when they were near each other has become something more. The saga of Enzo and Tobias and how I love these two. I have no idea what will happen. Only time will tell.
A/N: Up until the final pics with Enzo and Sierra at their camp I have never once played either of them other than to pop into their camps to adjust their heights and a quick pic of Tobias introducing his dad to Vincente that I never used.
For some reason, I can’t get the gallery link now so I copied the tweet with it…
